Wow life comes at you!

We have been so busy around here in the Espo household. Not much more to say than that. Here are some pictures so ya'll can see how life has been. Oh and we did not need to build an ark. 20+ inches of rain in a week is all I have to say on that subject.

A Regular Mr. Fix It

Mr. Fix It upgraded my favorite room in the house for me a few weeks back. He really wanted me to feel at home in the room I spend most of my time in. He did a great job! It is amazing how much more space we now have to hold all of our important things (aka. Junk). The best part is they havn't fallen off of the wall yet and we filled them.

So he is not a baby anymore!

So within one week of each of these events it became clear that the little man was just that a little man. He is no longer a baby. This is a fact he reminds me of constantly. In one week PB learned to tie his shoes and ride his little bmx bike with no training wheels. I realize the importance of living in a court when you have two kamikaze children who have no fear. It really is a good thing they both like their helmets! In 2 week TD will be three! Wow time flies. It really is like that country song by the guy who used to sing for Hootie and the Blowfish, I will miss it when it is gone. Well off to PB's room for the 5th time, I guess he still needs his mommy after all.

Who's the little guy with wings?

So we all know what Saturday is. To the little one's it is more candy!!!Candy, Candy, Candy! Well yesterday we got cards from my mom. The kids were so excited. We set them up read them played with them. Well at bedtime or what feels more like a debriefing of the day's events. You know who tattled on who, who peed at nap time.... You see where that is going. P asked who the naked little man was with wings. Yeah, I was confused at first until he clarified his question by adding you know on the card. So I told him about Cupid. What was I thinking. I told him a little man flies around and shoots people with heart tipped arrows and if you are hit with one the first boy or girl you see you will fall in love with. Well even by the glow of the nightlight you should have seen his face. Shock, confusion, a note in his mental log about what to talk to the therapist with years down the road. Well it goes like this:
"What do you mean he shoots people?"
"Did it hurt?"
"Did daddy get hit first?"
" Do you have a hole where the arrow thing hit you? Can I see?"
So a funny little card leads to all of this and I have no idea how to explain about a little man who has wings and wears a diaper and hits people with heart shaped arrows. With that said
Happy Valentines Day to everyone from all of us in the Espo house, oh and Cupid.

So Fancy

Well thanks to "Fancy Nancy" T has a new idol. These are great girl books. Thanks to the inspiration that the main character provided T decided to get all dressed for an expedition to Lowes. Now I don't know about anybody else, but her sense of fashion really comes out don't you think? When she gets dressed she asks if she is fancy or not. Well Daddy Espo and I are in trouble if at almost 3 she is worried about what she is wearing. Stay tuned she will start ballet next week in a program offered through her school. She is so excited. I can just picture what she will want to wear a leotard, jeans, a tu tu, and her ballet slippers.

Racing Fans

Dad and little man went to the Rolex 24 today. This was little man's first experience with a car race. He asked if Jeff Gordon was going to be there. I had no idea he knew anything about racing other than the movie Cars. Daddy made the mistake of turning on the racing network at 6:30 this morning and little man saw it and was ready to go because the race had already started. They were out the door by 7:30 this morning.
